10 Amazing Websites You Probably Didn’t Know Existed
Over the years, I’ve come across countless websites that do one very specific thing extremely well. Some of them are tools I end up bookmarking immediately, while others are just fun, clever, or surprisingly useful in ways you don’t expect at first glance.
In this review, I’m walking through ten amazing websites across different categories that I personally explored and demonstrated on screen.
This article reflects my real experience using each site. I’ll explain what I did, what I saw, and why each one stood out while testing it. No hype, no filler, just practical observations based on hands-on use.
Let’s start with the first website.
1. Vocal Remover
The first website I tested is Vocal Remover, a free online tool designed to separate vocals from instrumentals in music files. What makes this site interesting is how straightforward the process is. The website automatically creates two separate tracks from a single song: one instrumental track with the vocals removed, and one acapella track where the vocals are isolated.
During my test, the site clearly displayed both outputs once processing was complete. There was no confusion about what was created or how to access each version.
How I Used Vocal Remover
To get started, I clicked the “Browse my files” option and selected an MP3 file from my computer. There were no complicated settings or extra steps before uploading. Once the file was selected, the site immediately began processing it.
The entire separation process took roughly 10 to 15 seconds, which was surprisingly fast. When it finished, I was presented with two tracks on the screen: the music-only instrumental and the vocals-only version.
At the bottom left of the interface, there’s a play button that lets you preview each track. While I couldn’t play the audio out loud during the video due to copyright restrictions, I could clearly see how the interface allows you to test the results before downloading.
Saving the Tracks
In the lower right corner, there’s a “Save” option. Clicking this gives you control over what you want to download. You can save just the instrumental version, just the vocal track, or both files together. Once selected, the files download directly to your computer.
From a usability standpoint, Vocal Remover does exactly what it promises without unnecessary distractions.
2. AutoDraw
AutoDraw is an AI-powered drawing tool from Google that works across smartphones, tablets, and PCs. I’ve shown other Google AI experiments before, and this one fits perfectly into that category of simple but clever tools.
When I opened AutoDraw, the layout was immediately easy to understand. Drawing tools and color options appear on the left side, keeping everything within easy reach.

Drawing with AI Assistance
The most interesting feature sits right at the top of the toolbar. When selected, AutoDraw begins analyzing whatever you draw and offers visual suggestions to improve it. To demonstrate this, I attempted to draw an animal using my mouse, which is never ideal if you’re not an artist.
As expected, my drawing wasn’t great. However, as soon as I finished sketching, AutoDraw displayed a row of suggestions at the top. These included cleaner, more polished versions of what it thought I was trying to draw. Some suggestions were unexpected, like a shirt, while others clearly matched animal shapes.
Clicking one of these suggestions instantly replaced my rough sketch with a clean illustration.
Extra Options and Sharing
In the upper-left corner, the menu icon gives you access to additional options. From there, you can start over, download your drawing, or share it with others. Everything is quick and intuitive, making AutoDraw useful even if you’re just experimenting or creating something simple.
3. Coffitivity
Coffitivity is a website that plays ambient background sounds meant to improve focus and productivity. The concept is inspired by research suggesting that moderate background noise can help people concentrate better.
Rather than music, Coffitivity focuses on environmental sounds that feel natural and unobtrusive.
Listening to the Sound Tracks
When I opened the site, I found that nine different sound tracks are available for free. I sampled a few during my test to get a feel for the variety.
One of the tracks I played was Sunny Day Café, which mimics the background noise you’d hear in a coffee shop. Another was Lunchtime Lounge, offering a slightly different atmosphere. I also tried Heavy Wind, which creates a more immersive environmental sound.
Each track plays smoothly without distractions, making it easy to leave running in the background while working.

4. Missing Money
Missing Money is a practical website for people living in the United States or Canada. It allows you to search for unclaimed funds that may belong to you or your business. These funds can come from forgotten deposits, overpayments, or other sources that never made it back to the owner.
Running a Search
Using the site is straightforward. I entered a last name or business name along with a first name, then clicked the search button. The site then checks multiple databases to see if any unclaimed funds match the search criteria.
Once the results page loads, you can see listings that show where money may be owed.
Real Examples of Claims
During the video, I mentioned real cases where people successfully claimed money through this site. One person recovered around $3,000 from a military-related account, while another claimed roughly $600. These examples show that this isn’t just theoretical—it actually works for people who take the time to search.
If you live in the US or Canada, this is one of those sites worth checking at least once.

5. Copycat Recipes
Copycat Recipes is designed for people who want to recreate popular restaurant dishes at home. When I explored the site, I found hundreds of recipes available.
You can search for a specific recipe using the search bar at the top, or click on “All Recipes” to browse by category. The category list is extensive, making it easy to explore different types of dishes if you’re just looking for inspiration.
My Experience Using the Recipes
I mentioned two recipes I personally tried at home. One was Olive Garden’s meatball parmesan, and the other was Red Lobster’s cheddar bay biscuits. Both recipes followed a consistent structure.
Each recipe clearly lists the ingredients first, followed by step-by-step instructions. This format makes it easy to follow along without constantly scrolling back and forth.
For anyone who enjoys cooking or wants to recreate restaurant favorites, this site delivers exactly what it promises.
6. MapCrunch
MapCrunch uses Google Street View to instantly teleport you to a random location anywhere in the world. It’s been around for about a decade, yet many people still don’t know it exists.
Navigating Random Locations
When the site loads, you’re immediately placed somewhere new. Some locations offer breathtaking scenery, while others are strange, unexpected, or even confusing.
At the top of the screen, there’s a “Go” option. Clicking it takes you to another random location. From there, you can navigate just like you would in Google Street View, moving around and exploring the area.
MapCrunch is simple, unpredictable, and oddly addictive.
7. Lizard Point
Lizard Point is an educational website that offers hundreds of interactive map quizzes. These quizzes cover countries, states, and cities and are completely free to use.
The site works well for both kids and adults, depending on how you choose to use it.
Taking a Quiz
To demonstrate how it works, I selected a quiz related to Australia and New Zealand. This is the kind of quiz that could be helpful if you’re planning a trip or just want to refresh your geography knowledge.
When a question appears, you click on the map where you believe the correct answer is. If you select the wrong location, the site tells you how many tries you have left.
In my example, I intentionally selected the wrong answer twice. Once I ran out of tries, I clicked “See where Victoria is,” and the site showed the correct location on the map.
This immediate feedback makes learning more engaging and memorable.
8. Calculator Soup
Calculator Soup is a comprehensive collection of free online calculators. During my walkthrough, it was clear how wide-ranging the tools are.
The site includes calculators for loans, mortgages, algebra, trigonometry, fractions, physics, statistics, time and date calculations, conversions, and much more.
A Real Use Case
One calculator I mentioned using recently was the mortgage payment calculator. When I was looking to buy a house, this tool came in handy for estimating payments without needing a spreadsheet or specialized software.
Calculator Soup is one of those sites that becomes more valuable the more you explore it.
9. Hemingway Editor
Hemingway Editor is an online writing analyzer that helps you evaluate how readable your text is. To use it, you simply copy something you’ve written, such as an essay, and paste it into the editor.
Once pasted, the site immediately analyzes the text.
What the Results Show
On the right side of the screen, Hemingway Editor displays useful stats. These include a readability grade, word count, and other metrics that help you understand how accessible your writing is.
The site also highlights areas where sentences could be simplified or improved.
Pricing Mentioned
Hemingway Editor is free to use for basic analysis. During the video, I also noted that there are paid plans with additional features, including AI tools, starting at around $8 per month.
10. Hey, It’s Free
Hey, It’s Free is dedicated to finding legitimate freebies online. One of the key benefits is that the site filters out spam, junk, and low-quality offers to focus only on genuine free items.
Browsing Categories
The site includes dozens of categories, which helps narrow down what you’re interested in. Because the homepage can feel overwhelming at first, I recommended starting with the “Best Freebies” section.
Birthday Freebies Section
One standout category is birthday freebies. In this section, you’ll find more than 300 verified direct links to free birthday offers from stores and restaurants.
You can further filter these results by categories such as entertainment, food, grocery, pet, retail, and travel, making it easier to find something relevant.
