Quick Answer
Soro SEO costs $39 a month ($18 a month billed yearly), publishes up to 30 articles a month, and cut my content production time by about 90% across three test sites. It also shipped an article with a broken internal link on day 6, so you still need a weekly review. Verdict: worth it for small sites that need steady blog output on a budget. A poor fit for YMYL niches, or if you need backlinks, rank tracking or an API.

Check Soro’s Current PricingI connected Soro to a plumbing services site, a Shopify skincare store and a personal finance blog, then let it run for 47 days. Two sites were on auto-publish and one on draft review. Below are the numbers, the bugs, and what Soro’s own pages and other users say.
Soro SEO at a Glance
| Category | My Verdict |
|---|---|
| Best for | Small business owners, agencies and e-commerce brands that need steady publishing without hiring a writer |
| Not for | YMYL publishers, pillar-cluster strategies, keyword-by-keyword control, or anyone who wants to drive the tool from their own AI agents |
| Price | $39/month, $27/month quarterly, $18/month annual. No contract. A 14-day refund window, not a free trial |
| Tested on | WordPress (plugin), Shopify (native app), Webflow (webhook) |
| Listed, not tested | Ghost, HubSpot, Notion, Wix, Next.js |
| Writing models | Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, according to Soro’s pricing page |
| Company | DIGIMERI OÜ. Public reviews start around late 2025, so the track record is short |
| API / MCP | None public as of this test. CMS connectors and webhooks only |
| Articles generated | 39 across three sites in 47 days |
| My score | 7.7 / 10 |
Soro SEO vs Sora: Same Sound, Different Product
Searching “Soro AI” sometimes lands people on OpenAI’s video tool. Soro here is an SEO content autopilot with nothing to do with video. If video was what you wanted, my list of Sora AI alternatives covers it.
Soro SEO Pricing (2026)
Billing length changes the price more than the plan name does. Third-party pricing reviews report these rates for the Starter plan:
Paid yearly, Starter costs $216 instead of $468, a saving of $252. When I loaded Soro’s pricing page on October 3, 2026, it showed “from $39” with a banner advertising up to 50% off. Check the live page before you pay.
| Plan | Price | Articles/Month | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | From $39/mo | About 30 | One site |
| Growth | About $89/mo in my test | 90-100 | Multi-site owners |
| Scale | Custom | Unlimited | Agencies |
Growth cost me about $89 a month. One comparison site lists Growth at $79 and a Pro tier at $149, so treat anything above Starter as a moving number. If you are weighing credit-based tools against flat plans, my Rankaria pricing breakdown shows how credits change the real cost.
Soro SEO vs a Manual Workflow
Here is the cost math against my own freelance rate of $0.08 a word on a 1,200-word target.
| Task | Manual | With Soro | Savings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keyword research (8 articles) | 3-4 hrs | ~20 min review | ~85% |
| Writing (1,200 words) | $96 or 3+ hrs | Included | ~90%+ |
| On-page SEO | 45-60 min | ~5 min spot-check | ~88% |
| Publishing to CMS | 20-30 min | Automatic or 1 click | ~95% |
| Cost per article | $96-150 | ~$1.30 ($39 / 30 articles) | ~99% |
How I Tested Soro
No demo accounts and no vendor walkthrough. I paid with my own card, connected three live sites and let Soro run under real conditions.
| Site | Platform | Mode | Articles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local plumbing business | WordPress + Rank Math | Auto-publish | 18 |
| Skincare store | Shopify | Draft review | 11 |
| Personal finance blog | Webflow (webhook) | Auto-publish | 10 |
The finance blog got the closest watching, because one wrong number in that niche causes real trouble.
How Soro Works
Soro reads your existing content to learn your tone, builds a keyword list and content calendar, writes a draft each day, adds meta data, links and an image, then publishes it or parks it in a review queue.

Keyword research
The plumbing site’s first batch arrived about 20 hours after I connected the URL. I ran 15 keywords through Ahrefs: 11 were worth targeting, and 4 were too broad and would have cannibalized existing category pages.
The dashboard shows no keyword difficulty score. You are trusting Soro’s model without being able to audit the number.
Brand voice matching
The plumbing site had 20+ posts, and Soro’s drafts needed under 10 minutes of editing each. The finance blog had only 3 seed posts and produced flatter, more generic copy for the first two weeks.
On-page SEO and internal links
All 39 articles had meta descriptions, title tags and alt text. Internal linking worked on 33 of 39. The six misses were on the finance blog, where Soro ran out of eligible targets and left plain-text anchors instead of skipping the sentence.
Publishing and languages
The WordPress plugin handled 18 publishes with zero failures, and the Shopify app behaved the same. Webflow needed one webhook reconnect after a token I generated expired, and Soro didn’t flag the failed sync for two days.
Soro advertises 50+ languages. I ran a Spanish batch for the skincare store. It was grammatically clean, but a few phrases came out too literal. I didn’t test the other languages.
Images and the content calendar
Generated images worked for blog headers and not much else. On the skincare site I swapped in real product photos on the five highest-traffic posts, and that beat both the AI images and my old stock photos. The calendar view is handy for seeing what is queued.
Performance tracking
The dashboard pulls Search Console impressions per article. That is the whole feature. There is no keyword-level rank tracking, technical audit, backlink monitoring or AI-search tracking, so you will pair it with another tool, such as the site checker I covered in my WooRank review.
Signing Up and Connecting a Site
Signup took under two minutes: email, password, your website URL, then the dashboard. Soro claims a 3-minute setup, and for WordPress that held up. I installed the plugin, pasted an API key from the dashboard, and the handshake worked first try. Shopify used the standard app install.
Webflow was the odd one out. There is no native app, so I set up a webhook with a token from Webflow’s project settings. That is a five-minute job if you have done it before and a confusing one if you haven’t, and Soro’s screenshots showed an older Webflow layout.
There is no free trial. The 14-day refund is your safety net, and it needs a card upfront.

Try Soro SEO With the 14-Day RefundWhat Soro Skips on the Page
Shopify App Store reviewers point at a cluster of on-page gaps. One said articles came with random-string image filenames, no bolded target keyword early on, no FAQ block, and the odd link to an unrelated page. That reviewer says support told them to fix it by hand. Another suggested running Soro’s drafts through a second AI for a rewrite.
The listing sits around 4.5 stars from 15 reviews, so it is a small sample, but the complaints are specific. I saw the link and overlap problems myself. Here is how I patch each gap:
| Gap | Workaround |
|---|---|
| No FAQ block | Add 3-5 questions manually after publishing |
| Random image filenames | Rename files in the media library |
| No keyword difficulty score | Check each weekly batch in Ahrefs before accepting. It cut 2-3 weak targets per batch for me |
| Internal links to renamed drafts | Crawl with Screaming Frog every 15-20 posts and check status codes |
| Generic voice on new sites | Publish 5-8 manual cornerstone posts first |
| No cannibalization check | Audit H1s and target queries at the 30-article mark |
| No rank tracking, audits or backlinks | Run a separate SEO suite alongside Soro |
Will Soro Get You Cited in ChatGPT?
Soro’s pages promise content that ranks on Google and shows up in ChatGPT. That is a vendor claim, and Soro has no feature that tracks whether it happens. Rivals such as BabyLoveGrowth monitor brand mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Soro doesn’t.
My test didn’t measure AI citations, so I’m not claiming any. If AI visibility matters to you, measure it separately with a tracker like Rankscale or one from my Perplexity rank tracker roundup. It also helps to understand retrieval vs citation, because being retrieved by an AI tool and being cited are different things.
Editing a Draft and Time Saved
In draft-review mode, each pending article shows its target keyword, a readability indicator and an SEO checklist. The editor is plain text, so callout boxes and embedded tables have to be added after publishing in WordPress or Shopify.
My edits per 1,200-word article were usually the same three: rewrite one or two stiff sentences, trace every statistic back to a real source, and confirm internal links point to live pages. That last check caught the 404 above, and it is now a permanent step.

WordPress/Shopify publishes failed
live 404 from a stale link
Editorial review doesn’t shrink at all. Soro removes the production grind, not the job of checking what goes out under your domain.
Who Is Behind Soro, and Is It Legit?
Soro is run by DIGIMERI OÜ. The site footer links terms, privacy and refund pages, a support email, and LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram profiles. Soro’s own testimonials and its Trustpilot history start around late 2025, so this is a young product measured in months, not years.
Young isn’t automatically bad. But if your 12-month content calendar runs through Soro, keep a manual publishing fallback. Support replied to every ticket I opened within a day, including a deliberately confusing Webflow question. Checkout runs on Stripe with 256-bit encryption, per the pricing page. Soro receives the site and content details you connect, so read its privacy policy first. For a general checklist, see how to know if an AI tool is safe.
What Other Users Say
I checked three public sources on October 3, 2026. The Shopify App Store shows about 4.5 stars from 15 reviews, mostly five-star. The WordPress.org plugin shows 5.0 from 2 reviews, one praising local enquiries and quick support. Trustpilot sits in the high 4s with several hundred reviews, and the praise is mostly about fast setup and named support staff.
The critical reviews cluster around three things: cancellation that felt slow, generic content on thin sites, and one Shopify reviewer who felt there was too much manual work for the price. Those counts will drift, so treat them as a snapshot.

- Cost per article beats every freelancer I have used

- The 14-day refund made testing low-risk
- Support answered every ticket within a day
❌ What needs work
- No keyword difficulty score
- Internal links can point to unpublished drafts

- Generic drafts on thin sites for 2-3 weeks
- No backlinks, audits, rank tracking or AI-search tracking
- No public API or MCP server
- Young company with a short track record
Soro SEO vs the Alternatives
| Tool | Strength | Gap vs Soro | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Soro | Cheapest full autopilot, voice learning | No backlinks, audits or tracking | $39/mo |
| Outrank | Backlink exchange, 150+ languages | Costs more | $99/mo |
| BabyLoveGrowth | Backlinks, AI citation tracking, site audits | Costs more | $99/mo |
| Emplibot | Blog plus social distribution | Weaker keyword research | $49/mo |
| Koala AI | More editorial control | Not hands-off | $9/mo |
| BlogBud AI | Bulk keyword-to-article output | No brand voice learning | $0.19/article |
If content volume is your gap, Soro wins on price and simplicity. If you also need links and AI-visibility tracking, the $99 tools do more, and BabyLoveGrowth reportedly adds a 3-day trial and a traffic-linked guarantee. If you work in a sensitive niche, Koala or a human writer gives you more control.
Risks to Plan For
Google penalties. AI text itself isn’t the trigger. Thin, inaccurate content published at volume is, and Soro moves that risk from the writing stage to your review process.
Cannibalization. At the 30-article mark, I found two Soro articles on the plumbing site targeting near-identical service queries with overlapping H2s. I merged them by hand. Soro never flagged the overlap.
Dependency. If Soro goes down, your schedule pauses. With no public API, you can’t build your own monitoring on top.
Three Real Use Cases From My Test
The plumbing business
No blog and competitors ranking for every “emergency plumber” variant. I accepted the location-intent keywords and turned on daily auto-publish. Within 30 days, Search Console impressions were up 34% on FAQ and local queries. Review took about 20 minutes a week.
The skincare store
Soro found buying-guide and ingredient-comparison keywords next to the catalog. I kept it on draft review because a wrong ingredient claim matters here. Review ran closer to 25 minutes per article, mostly fact-checking.
The finance blog
I stress-tested full automation here on purpose. Gains showed up around day 45, and two articles had financial figures I had to correct. Niches that need verified expertise need a human on every output.
How to Cancel or Get a Refund
Ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase. Soro publishes a Refund Policy page and a Money-Back Guarantee page, so read both before paying. Shopify subscribers cancel through Shopify admin under Apps, then Soro. Everyone else should contact support at the email in the site footer. A few Trustpilot reviewers found cancellation slow, so cancel before the renewal date, not on it.
My Scorecard
Reliability costs Soro the most, because of the stale internal link, the silent Webflow sync failure and a company with months of history. None of that is disqualifying. It just makes the review step non-negotiable.

Start My 14-Day Refund WindowConclusion
Soro delivered on its core promise. It published consistent, on-brand content across three platforms with almost no manual work on the production side. The bugs I hit are all catchable with a weekly 20-minute audit, which is a fair trade for dozens of hours saved.
I’m keeping Soro on the plumbing site in draft mode. The finance blog is back to manual publishing until it has more seed content. If you pick Soro, pair it with a rank tracker, and read my notes on SEO strategies for AI visibility tools to plan what comes after the content is live.
FAQ
Is Soro SEO legit?
Yes. It is a working product from DIGIMERI OÜ with public reviews, a refund policy and support that replied within a day in my test. It is also young, so don’t assume it will rank you without review.
How much does Soro SEO cost?
$39 a month on monthly billing. Third-party reviews report $27 a month quarterly and $18 a month annually ($216 a year). Higher tiers cost more, so check the live pricing page.
Does Soro SEO have a free trial?
No. It offers a 14-day money-back guarantee instead, so you pay at signup and request a refund within 14 days if it doesn’t suit you.
Is Soro SEO worth it for a brand-new site?
It works, but expect generic drafts for the first few weeks. Publishing 5-8 manual posts first speeds up the voice learning.
Does Soro replace Ahrefs or Semrush?
No. It has no backlink data, rank tracking, site audits or historical keyword trends. Pair it with a dedicated research tool.
Does Soro have an API or MCP server?
Not publicly, as of this test. You can connect WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Ghost, HubSpot, Notion, Wix and Next.js through connectors and webhooks, but you can’t drive Soro from your own scripts or AI agents.
Which AI models does Soro use?
Soro’s pricing page says its writing is powered by Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. It doesn’t say which model writes which article.
Can AI detectors spot Soro articles?
I didn’t run Soro output through detectors, and detectors are unreliable anyway. Google cares more about quality than origin. My note on AI content and Turnitin detection explains the limits.
How much editing time should I budget?
Plan 15-30 minutes per article before publishing, or a weekly 20-30 minute audit if you run full auto-publish.
